COMMENT OF THE DAY: We don’t need no education! We don’t need no thought control…

Greece made international news today, but not for the reasons you’d expect.  Y’see, we’re not talking about the latest austerity program to hit Athens, but rather the town of Greece, NY, a suburb of Rochester, where a bunch of seventh- and eighth-graders berated a 68-year-old bus monitor to the point of tears, even bringing up her son who committed suicide a decade ago.  Several outraged citizens are going as far as to demand that they be thrown in jail for their actions, but not this guy:

So let me get this straight, because these 13-year-olds are “more than adults,” (what kinda pedophile logic is that?) and are learning to read, write and do math in order to work at WalMart and be debt-slaves for the rest of their lives, they have every right to threaten and abuse a senior citizen?  Uh, even if there might be just a sliver of truth to your scenario, I’m not sure how that’s in any way related to or excuses their behaviour there, buddy.  Something tells me the kids would make fun of you and your tinfoil hat, too…
