COMMENT OF THE DAY: Bible-study time with Walt Wawra…
From: http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/08/09/walt-wawra/
The interwebs are laughing at Walt Wawra, a Kalamazoo, Michigan cop who wishes he had his gun when two young men in Calgary’s Nose Hill Park asked him if he’d “been to the Stampede yet.” Wawra was so shook up by this encounter that he wrote a letter to the Calgary Herald suggesting that Canada ought to legalize firearms. “I speculate they did not have good intentions when they approached in such an aggressive, disrespectful and menacing manner,” Wawra wrote. “I thank the Lord Jesus Christ they did not pull a weapon of some sort, but rather concluded it was in their best interest to leave us alone.” As a native Calgarian, I know that whenever I ask someone if they’ve been to the Stampede yet, what I’m really saying is “Gimme all yer mini doughnuts or I’ll lasso yer Yankee ass and hog-tie ya to a tree!”—so I can understand where Wawra’s coming from. And while I’ve never read the Bible, it seems he also has Our Lord and Saviour on his side:
Hmm, was this the chapter before or after he came back to life and killed all the lesbian vampires?
