Peterborough resident Anne Langdon is demanding 25-grand from her next-door neighbours because, as she claims, their son plays basketball too loud on their side driveway. Furthermore, she states that “a wooden panel – specially built on wheels to protect her window from an errant basketball – is blocking light from her apartment window.” Oh, the horror! Not surprisingly, she’s found a lawyer to take her case, and says she’ll take the family next door to court if they don’t pay within 10 days. I can only imagine what their statement to the judge will look like:
Oh, and here’s the kicker. The Sun mentions that Langdon’s a professional writer, and a quick Google search reveals a writer with that name on IMDB. Though it doesn’t say where she’s from, that Anne Langdon is credited with writing segments for two episodes of the “The Care Bears Family” TV show in 1988. Gee, is it any wonder she only lasted two episodes?
