Note to self: Don’t get the Bachelor’s Package at Philly’s Penthouse Club.  As the Philadelphia Daily News reports, one soon-to-be-married man, “Patrick Gallagher, of Lansdale, claims that a dancer slid down a stripper pole and landed on him with such force that she ruptured his bladder.”  Bums away!

Unfortunately, Gallagher wasn’t able to get his money’s worth after the atomic ass attack.  As per the Daily News, “The boom left the groom in such severe pain that he and his friends left.”  He checked himself into the hospital the next day, where the diagnosis called for surgery.  No word as to whether he made it to his wedding—the incident is said to have occurred in November 2010.

Of course, if it’s in the news today, it’s because Gallagher’s suing the club for 50 G’s due to “medical costs, pain, humiliation and mental anguish.”  A paltry sum compared to the $10-million sought by Michael D. Nash, albeit in this case, I don’t think the club froze the plaintiff’s penis off.  (That only comes with the VIP Bachelor Package, I presume.)  In any case, this isn’t the first time someone has sought legal action against the Penthouse Club.  As the Daily News reports, “The other lawsuits allege a beating by bouncers, a slip-and-fall injury, overserving of alcohol and the unauthorized use of a woman’s photographs in club advertisements”—to say nothing of the seven performers charged with prostitution a year ago.  Sounds like a classy joint!
