Wow, it sure wasn’t this guy’s lucky day!

Sometimes, as I rush past people on the subway platform, I can’t help but worry about what would happen if I fell off—or got pushed by some crazy cow-fucker like those teenage kids a couple years back.  Well, perhaps the worst-case scenario occurred in Stockholm, Sweden recently, where a man fell off the platform, lost consciousness, was robbed of his valuables and then got run over by a train, the Associated Press reports. If there was one fortunate turn of events, it’s that the guy didn’t die—though he did have to have part of his foot amputated.

According to the AP, the middle-aged man, who happened to be drunk, was on his way home from a party when the incident occurred.  But while he may have been too hammered to remember what happened, it was all caught on tape by security cameras, and would be shown on Sweden’s Most Wanted, as well as other channels.  And get this, the suspect apparently waved to the ticket-vendor as he calmly left the station.  Perhaps he was just trying to see if the vendor was asleep on the job (like a few of his TTC counterparts) so he could reach over the counter and grab some more loot?

No arrests have been made, but the suspect has been described as “between 35 and 40 years old and about 5-foot-9 (175 centimetres)” with “short, dark hair and was wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.”  Hmm, you’d think it wouldn’t be too hard to find a dark-haired man in Sweden…
