The Toronto Sun is livid over a recent announcement that the federal government will be spending $826,000 of your hard-earned tax dollars in order to “produce a higher quality sausage that is more resistant to splitting or bursting while cooking.”  To be fair, that does seem like a pretty massive amount to be spending on resistant wieners.  But I suppose it will create jobs, which will further expand the government coffers with the money deducted off those paycheques, right?

Well hey, at least you can rest assured that the next time the government slips you the sausage, it won’t explode inside of you…
