OLYMPIC BABES: Anna Laurell (Sweden, boxing)

Anna Laurell

Women’s boxing made its Olympic debut in London, and while she wasn’t one of the favourites in the middleweight division, this six-foot Swede certainly caught my eye.  Using her long reach to keep feisty American fighter Claressa Shields at bay, she managed to draw even on the scorecards through three rounds before the young American pulled it out in the fourth.  The two-time world champion also has a degree in chemistry and does some modelling on the side.  Talk about a real renaissance woman!
