COMMENT OF THE DAY: Garage sale regulations… un machetazo!

As the weather starts to warm up and people are tempted to sell off their old stuff in their driveways to make a couple bucks, they’ll hafta be careful, according to a new Health Canada advisory.  Apparently, it’s illegal to sell lawn darts or pointy strollers, whereas a long list of products such as “car seats, strollers, garden torches, corded window blinds and curtains, hockey helmets and MP3 players” shouldn’t be sold if you’re removed the sticker or lost the instructions.  So all that’s really safe is your old VHS collection and some back issues of Toronto Life.  Happy selling!

I dunno, but you might wanna check to see if there’s been any recalls on machetes lately…
