FRENCH WORD OF THE DAY: Saborder

Saborder: To voluntarily wrap up or destroy something.  Taken in a naval context, it means to pierce a hole in a ship in order for it to sink.

(Translation: “The parliamentary leader of the Parti québécois, Stéphane Bédard, is asking the ADQ to officially disband before beginning discussions on the parliamentary budget for the CAQ.”)
