After eating a large salad yesterday, I had one question as I descended towards the Urban Eatery this lunch hour: Where’s the beef?
Fortunately for urban carnivores, Big Smoke Burger sits on the other side of the island, across from the Urban Herbivore. They offer a solid selection of specialty burgers, so I went with their signature Big Smoke, which places lettuce, tomato, sautéed onions, smoked cheddar and horseradish mayo atop a 6 oz patty on a toasted bun. Served with a side of crispy onion rings, it’s delicious. In fact, I’d almost wonder if the fumes emitting from the Big Smoke’s grill might entice some vegetarians to come join the dark side…
