I’ve been to Teriyaki Experience tons of times–they’ve got one in just about every food court, and there’s even a standalone location on Yonge Street, just south of College. Thus, I was already familiar with their menu before heading to the new one at the Urban Eatery. The lone difference is that the new location includes an appetizer with every combo; either a spring roll, dumplings, side salad and possibly one or two other choices, some soup or something. This drives the prices up by a buck or two, but isn’t an unwelcome addition. In the end though, I just went for a spring roll.
My main dish was the “Hot ‘n Spicy” Chicken, which is chili chicken served with onions and red and green peppers on a bowl of yakisoba noodles. I must say, it was nice to eat from a real bowl instead of a plastic container.
